I had my surgery of the gastric sleeve on 7th march 2025 only just 5 days ago. I was up and walking about few hours after and hardly had any wind pain I’ve been extremely lucky! I’ve hardly took any painkillers and yesterday I didn’t have any! I was so nervous once I arrived at the hospital but Dr Süleyman, Olena, Arina were honestly amazing they talked me through everything made me feel so comfortable . Laughing and making me happy! I went with my sister she was my support and they were also to friendly and kind to her! I can not thank Dr Süleyman and his team any more from start to finish! Even now if I have question as a lot of information is given I message one of them get a reply so quickly! Thank you for everything Dr Süleyman and team!
I had my surgery (gastric sleeve) almost two weeks ago. Dr Sulliman Akili is the best surgeon. I was overwhelmed on how amazing I was cared for, by him and the fabulous nurses and staff. The hospital was spotlessly clean, as was my room. I felt at ease from the moment I arrived until I flew home. The co-ordinator Arina was so great and nothing was too much to ask for. She is fabulous. I would advise anybody who is thinking about surgery to contact Dr Sulliman. You won't be disappointed. I had hardly any pain at all (which surprised me) and I'm back at work already! I can't thank this doctor enough. He's changed my life.
Had a gastric sleeve done by Dr. S and his team. Would 1000% recommended. Changed my life for the better. Lovely clean hospital, care by not only him but his team also is second to none. Explained everything in detail before hand and always at the other end of the phone whenever you need him. Lovely man who genuinely cares.

All i can say is thank GOD i found this Dr!! Very informative, quick replies, nothing is too much for this man and his team! I went for my gastric sleeve april 2023 and ive lost nearly 9 stone (would have been more but i had a pregnancy after my sleeve). Outstanding team I recommend this surgeon if you are thinking of surgery he has changed my life and I wasn’t an easy patient as I’m sure he will agree but nothing is to much trouble day or night even now … I’m 8 weeks post-op over 30kg down and no longer diabetic !! I had my surgery in July and had a great experience with Dr. Süleyman Akıllı, I went with him after being recommended from 2 of my friends who couldn’t speak highly enough of him and they were right. I was very anxious and emotional when I arrived and he made me feel at ease. I have now lost 5 stone and feel the best I have felt in years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Süleyman Akıllı and his team, I still keep in touch with him now.
The best surgeon! He was very supportive and positive—I always felt safe. The nurses at the hospital were so lovely, making me feel pain-free and comfortable. I healed perfectly with almost invisible scars, and I owe him my new positive outlook on life—5 stone lost! I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. My husband was given a bed beside me and full board too. Had the procedure done on Monday and was out shopping by Thursday. Great team around him too!

Can’t praise Dr Sulyeman and Irina enough. Now I’ve been I wouldn’t even consider the NHS for this, Dr Sulyeman and his team knock spot of our old and broken health system. This has changed my life beyond recognition. Not just my appearance, but my mental health. It’s also changed my whole families perspective on food and exercise. 14 weeks, 5 stone down, I now look after myself, appearance and families health and mental well-being.
Anyone thinking about doing this stop thinking and just DO IT!!!!
