At your first contact with our patient coordinators, we are getting the informations about your health. Your current state of health, chronic conditions, previous operations and which treatment you would like.
In line with the information you give us, if you are suitable for the relevant treatment, we determine your appointment date and make all the preparations for you.
After you arrive at the hospital with your companion, who can accompany you free of charge, your diet is under the control of our nurses until the treatment process and we carry out the necessary tests to determine whether you are really suitable for the treatment.
After your treatment, you will be under control in our hospital until we are sure that you are well. This usually takes 2 to 4 days. After we are sure that you are completely well, we send you home and you can share all your processes by staying in direct contact with the doctor throughout your life.
I was born on 8 August 1973 in Antalya. Apart from my education and travels, I continued my life in Antalya.
I studied at Akdeniz University. I graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1996.
Between 1996 and 2000, I worked as a general surgeon at Ankara Oncology Hospital. Between 2001 and 2005, I worked as a pediatric surgeon at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2005 and 2024, I worked at Antalya Life Hospital. Since December 2024, I have been accepting patients in my own private clinic.

I had my surgery of the gastric sleeve on 7th march 2025 only just 5 days ago. I was up and walking about few hours after and hardly had any wind pain I’ve been extremely lucky! I’ve hardly took any painkillers and yesterday I didn’t have any! I was so nervous once I arrived at the hospital but Dr Süleyman, Olena, Arina were honestly amazing they talked me through everything made me feel so comfortable . Laughing and making me happy! I went with my sister she was my support and they were also to friendly and kind to her! I can not thank Dr Süleyman and his team any more from start to finish! Even now if I have question as a lot of information is given I message one of them get a reply so quickly! Thank you for everything Dr Süleyman and team!
I had my surgery (gastric sleeve) almost two weeks ago. Dr Sulliman Akili is the best surgeon. I was overwhelmed on how amazing I was cared for, by him and the fabulous nurses and staff. The hospital was spotlessly clean, as was my room. I felt at ease from the moment I arrived until I flew home. The co-ordinator Arina was so great and nothing was too much to ask for. She is fabulous. I would advise anybody who is thinking about surgery to contact Dr Sulliman. You won't be disappointed. I had hardly any pain at all (which surprised me) and I'm back at work already! I can't thank this doctor enough. He's changed my life.
Had a gastric sleeve done by Dr. S and his team. Would 1000% recommended. Changed my life for the better. Lovely clean hospital, care by not only him but his team also is second to none. Explained everything in detail before hand and always at the other end of the phone whenever you need him. Lovely man who genuinely cares. If you’re thinking about it go do it!
All i can say is thank GOD i found this Dr!! Very informative, quick replies, nothing is too much for this man and his team! I went for my gastric sleeve april 2023 and ive lost nearly 9 stone (would have been more but i had a pregnancy after my sleeve). I am continuing to be supported by Dr Suleyman, will be returning for plastics soon! Thankyou!
I can't rate this surgeon highly enough. He is amazing at what he does. I was terrified but decided to book in for my Gastric Bypass on the 10th July 2024 and I am so glad I did. I was very scared and nervous but Dr Suleyman Akilli answered all my questions, explained everything and put me at ease. He is so friendly and welcoming. I have not had one single issue with my surgery or my Dr. I am not 6 weeks Post Op and feeling great! I've lost 34lbs so far and I am finally looking forward to the future for the first time in a very long time.
